The Subtle Mind
This exercise was much easier for me. I found that I could concentrate more. These are the types of exercises that I find most helpful because learning to control and use my mind for healthy benefits is my main goal. I believe that the correlation between the mind and body and health and wellness are essential. Finding a way to incorporate the mind into my physical fitness routine actually allows me to get more benefits all the way around. I am able to get the exercise I need to maintain a healthy body while allowing my mind to become more enlightened. When I use both in a workout, I feel much more free afterwards. There really isn't any other way to explain it.

I agree with you Kate, this exercise was a lot easier for me also! I went to the gym today and actually meditated at the end of stretching. It was an interesting feeling and I felt really relaxed. Good luck with your experimentation :)
ReplyDeleteHey there Kate,
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear you had no trouble with the CD. I experieced some problems on track three. However, I still manages to make it work and did feel very relaxed after the exercise. In fact, I was on cloud nine! A combo of lovingkindness and breathwork may even enhance this process further. What do you think?
I tried the exercise with not a lot of success. This is definitely my weakest point on my journey to wellness. One thing at a time, I guess. Physical fitness is priority one right now. Later I will work on the mental aspect.
